Prism Break Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Prism Break (the "App") is developed by Caleb Jordan ("the Developer") with no in-game ads nor purchases. The App may collect, transmit, and store anonymous play stats as described in this policy when Share Anonymous Play Stats is enabled. You can turn sharing off in Settings.

2. Data Collection

When Share Anonymous Play Stats is enabled, the App collects the following:

• Anonymous Install ID: A random identifier created on your device. It is not personal information and cannot be used to identify you nor your device.
• Gameplay Events: First open; session start and end (including session ID and session length); level start and level complete (including level id, time, and move count).
• Event Metadata: App version, platform (iOS or Android), and the time from your device, sent with each event.

These events help the Developer understand how the game is played and improve Prism Break. For players in the EU/UK (and similar laws), this processing is based on legitimate interests in understanding play and improving the game.

To the best of my knowledge, the App does not collect the following:

• No Names or Email: It does not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers from the App.
• No Tracking: It does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) or cross-app / cross-site tracking for advertising.
• No Location: It does not collect location.
• No Third-Party Analytics SDKs: It does not use third-party analytics services such as Unity Analytics or Firebase to monitor your gameplay.

Play stats are first-party and stored on infrastructure controlled by the Developer (Cloudflare Workers and D1). This data is not sold and is not used for advertising. Cloudflare may process data in the United States or other countries.

3. Local Storage & Permissions

Game progress and settings are stored on your device's local storage. When sharing is enabled, the App periodically uploads anonymous play stats.

The Android manifest requests INTERNET permissions so the App can open this privacy policy from within the App and upload anonymous play stats when sharing is enabled.

4. Opt-Out and Data Deletion

In Settings, you can turn off Share Anonymous Play Stats at any time to stop the App from sending these events.

To request deletion of uploaded play stats, email caleb.s.jordan@gmail.com or use the support form.

You may also uninstall the App and clear the App's cache in your device settings to remove locally stored game data.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal data, to data portability where applicable, and to complain to a data protection authority. For this App, the practical controls are Settings (sharing) and email to caleb.s.jordan@gmail.com.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly process personal information from individuals under the age of 16 for the purpose of this App.

7. Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms may collect data related to your account or device as per their own respective privacy policies. I recommend reviewing their terms if you have concerns about platform-level data handling.
